Check if the fuel tank has enough gasoline, the battery is properly connected and charged, and the ignition switch is turned on. Additionally, ensure that the parking brake is engaged and that you are seated on the tractor seat before attempting to start the engine.
Locate the cutting height adjustment lever near the fender on the left side of the tractor. Move the lever to the desired cutting height position, ranging from 1.5 to 4 inches. Ensure that both sides of the mower deck are set at the same height for an even cut.
First, verify that the PTO (Power Take Off) switch is engaged. If it is, check if the drive belt is properly connected and not worn or damaged. Inspect the blade engagement cable and make sure it is correctly connected and functioning. If the issue persists, seek professional assistance.
It is recommended to change the engine oil after the initial five hours of use, and then every 50 hours or at least once a year. However, always refer to the manufacturer's guidelines for precise maintenance intervals.
Start by ensuring that the mower deck is level. Adjust the deck if necessary, following the instructions in the manual. Additionally, check for any obstructions or excessive grass buildup underneath the deck that might impede the cutting performance. Sharpen or replace the blades if they are dull or damaged.
