Can't find the answer to your question in the manual? You may find the answer to your question in the FAQs about the Husqvarna Huskystar 219 below.
Which size of needle you can best use depends on the thickness of the fabric you use. With a thick fabric you should use a thick needle. The packaging of your needle states for which substances your needle is suitable.
Generally, a sewing needle lasts about 7 to 9 hours.
There can be several causes for needle breakage: - Not using the right needle for the right fabric - The needle is set too low - The fabric is not properly guided - The bobbin case is not inserted correctly
Make sure the needle is properly inserted, the needle size matches the fabric, and it is not bent or damaged. Additionally, ensure the bobbin is correctly inserted with the thread properly threaded.
Use the tension dial located on the machine's front panel. Increase the tension if the stitches are loose, and decrease it if the stitches are too tight. Experiment with different tension settings until you achieve the desired stitch quality.
Check the machine's feed dogs for any obstructions or lint build-up that may be inhibiting smooth fabric feeding. Ensure the fabric is properly aligned and held taut while sewing. Adjusting the presser foot pressure may also help alleviate the issue.
Ensure you are using the correct needle type and size for the fabric. Check the needle to make sure it is not blunt or bent. Slow down the sewing speed and use a stabilizer if necessary. Cleaning the machine, especially the needle area, can also help.
First, ensure the machine is threaded correctly, and the bobbin is wound evenly. Check the tension settings and adjust as needed. Make sure the fabric is positioned and guided smoothly while sewing. Using equal pressure on the foot pedal may also contribute to more consistent stitches.

Machine making thumping sound do I need to oil it?
Clean the inside of your ceet with your lint brush or vavuum. Lint accumulates over time especially with certain fabrics. Also you may be sewing thick fabric. It doesnt hurt to oil it after cleaning. Be careful fabric doesnt touch the oil.
Why is my bobbin thread bunching up or either too tight. I can seem to adjust this correctly for quilting
My feed dogs will not rise. The slide button on the back/bottom doesn't seem to connect to anything to raise the feed dog

The stitch Pattern Selecter Dial appears stuck in the high stretch stitches. Won't go back to just a single straight stitch. I've cleaned the bobbin area well and put in new needle. No help.
