Can't find the answer to your question in the manual? You may find the answer to your question in the FAQs about the Husqvarna Daisy 325 below.
Which size of needle you can best use depends on the thickness of the fabric you use. With a thick fabric you should use a thick needle. The packaging of your needle states for which substances your needle is suitable.
Generally, a sewing needle lasts about 7 to 9 hours.
There can be several causes for needle breakage: - Not using the right needle for the right fabric - The needle is set too low - The fabric is not properly guided - The bobbin case is not inserted correctly
One possible reason for thread breakage could be incorrect threading of the machine or using the wrong type of thread for your particular fabric.
Skipped stitches may occur due to a dull or bent needle, improper needle insertion, or incorrect tension settings.
Uneven or puckered stitches can be a result of incorrect tension or using the wrong needle size or type for your fabric. Adjusting the tension, changing the needle, or using a stabilizer can help resolve the issue.
Fabric bunching can happen if the machine's feed dogs are not properly engaged or if the presser foot pressure is too low. Ensure the feed dogs are up and adjust the presser foot pressure if necessary.
If your sewing machine is making loud or unusual noises, it may be due to a few reasons, such as a loose screw or part, debris stuck in the machine, or the machine needing oiling. Inspect and clean your machine, tighten any loose parts, and lubricate it as specified in the manual.

Question and answer
Number of questions: 12The tension in the thread often causes problems. Right now, the bobbin thread is set "straight". If I pull on the thread, the seam comes undone. I have both knobs set at 4, have threaded the machine according to the instructions, and the same goes for inserting the bobbin. The seam was fine recently, but now it's acting up again.. What can I do? The machine is probably about 20 years old. I've never liked it due to this issue. Grateful for help. Planning to sew this weekend. Best regards, Kerstin Östholm Ferngren 0708-296273
