Yes, the Humminbird HELIX 5 fish finder (model number 1435440) includes a feature called Fish ID. Fish ID+ utilizes advanced signal processing to interpret sonar returns and show fish symbols on the Sonar View when certain conditions are met. You can enable or disable Fish ID+ in the Sonar settings menu. When Fish ID+ is enabled, fish symbols will be displayed on the Sonar View, with the color of the symbols indicating the location of the sonar beam. The depth of the fish is also shown above the symbol. You can adjust the sensitivity for fish detection and receive alerts with the Fish ID Alarm enabled. To adjust the Fish ID sensitivity, go to the Sonar settings menu and select Fish ID Sensitivity. To activate the Fish ID Alarm, go to the Alarms settings menu and select Fish ID Alarm.

We just got a new boat with the hummingbird helix5. The depth finder is way off it is showing 300 feet to 1200 for our lake that is 50 feet at the deepest. Is there a way to reset it. The lake has a lot of shallow areas and it would be good to have it as a backup until we learn lake better
