Your Hoover vacuum cleaner losing suction power can be due to the following causes: - The suction power is not set to maximum - The dust container or dust bag is full - The hose, brush or tube is clogged
A clean filter is important to maintain the vacuum cleaner's suction power. Therefore, check the filter regularly. When a filter is clogged, dust absorption decreases and energy consumption increases.
A commonly used method is to put a little washing powder in the dust container or the dust bag.
For allergy sufferers, vacuuming the house at least twice a week is recommended.

Regular maintenance of the filters is essential to maintain optimal performance. We recommend cleaning the filters at least once a month and replacing them every 6-12 months, depending on usage and filter type.
If your vacuum cleaner overheats, it may be a sign of a clogged hose, filter, or nozzle. Turn off the vacuum cleaner, unplug it, and allow it to cool down. Check and clean any blockages. Once cleared, you can resume using it.
Pet hair can sometimes get tangled around the brush roll, affecting its performance. Take a pair of scissors or a seam ripper and carefully cut or remove the hair strands. Be cautious not to damage the brush roll bristles while doing so.

Question and answer
Number of questions: 1I have the vacuum cleaner Hoover Space Explorer code no SL12PAR011. I cannot find it in the instruction manuals, but I am trying to download one for a similar model, SL71. However, the one that comes up regardless of the model I try is for a completely different and bagless model. I am trying to figure out if it is possible to connect the hose to the exhaust to get blowing instead of suction. Additionally, I want to find out what the "C" lever (in the product description) is for. It is silver-colored with the inscription "UP" and shows a drawing of the hose coiled around the machine. It can be flipped up and is located on top of the machine just below the inscription "NANO PACK".
