Your Hoover vacuum cleaner losing suction power can be due to the following causes: - The suction power is not set to maximum - The dust container or dust bag is full - The hose, brush or tube is clogged
A clean filter is important to maintain the vacuum cleaner's suction power. Therefore, check the filter regularly. When a filter is clogged, dust absorption decreases and energy consumption increases.
A commonly used method is to put a little washing powder in the dust container or the dust bag.
For allergy sufferers, vacuuming the house at least twice a week is recommended.
To assemble the Hoover Power Scrub Deluxe, start by attaching the handle to the base by aligning the notches and securely pushing them together until they click into place.
To fill the water tank, first, remove it by pressing the release latch. Then, unscrew the cap and pour clean hot tap water into the tank. Make sure not to overfill it, and securely screw the cap back on.
To select the cleaning mode, simply turn the SmartTanks™ dial located on the front of the machine. Choose between Wash, Rinse, or Dry mode, depending on your desired cleaning process.
To clean the brushes, first, turn off and unplug the machine. Then, remove the brush assembly by releasing the tabs on the sides. Rinse the brushes under warm water, ensuring all debris is removed. Allow them to air dry before reattaching them to the machine.
To remove and empty the dirty water tank, press the tank release latch and lift it out of the machine. Take it to a sink, pull up the tank handle, and pour out the collected dirty water. Rinse the tank thoroughly with warm water, then reattach it securely to the machine.

@Betsy Sheets the tank may be not on correctly. It will seal its self with suction sometimes when moving it around while it's on.
