Your Hoover vacuum cleaner losing suction power can be due to the following causes: - The suction power is not set to maximum - The dust container or dust bag is full - The hose, brush or tube is clogged
A clean filter is important to maintain the vacuum cleaner's suction power. Therefore, check the filter regularly. When a filter is clogged, dust absorption decreases and energy consumption increases.
A commonly used method is to put a little washing powder in the dust container or the dust bag.
For allergy sufferers, vacuuming the house at least twice a week is recommended.
Firstly, attach the handle to the main body of the vacuum cleaner by aligning the grooves and firmly pushing it in until it clicks into place. Then, securely fasten the hose to the front of the vacuum cleaner by inserting it into the designated slot.
To change the bag, start by unplugging the vacuum cleaner and locating the bag compartment cover at the front. Open the cover and carefully remove the full bag. Then, take a new bag from the storage compartment, ensuring it is the correct size and type, and insert it into the bag holder. Finally, close the cover securely.
Begin by turning off and unplugging the vacuum cleaner. Locate the height adjustment knob on the front of the vacuum and rotate it to the desired setting. Use a higher setting for thicker carpets and a lower setting for bare floors or low-pile carpets.
To clean the filter, remove the dust compartment cover from the vacuum cleaner. Take out the filter and gently tap it over a trash bin to remove debris. For thorough cleaning, rinse the filter under cold water, ensuring to remove all dirt and residue. Allow the filter to fully dry before reinserting it into the vacuum cleaner.
Firstly, check if the bag is full and needs to be replaced. Ensure all connections, such as the hose and attachments, are securely fitted. If there is a blockage in the hose or nozzle, remove it by gently pulling the obstruction out. Additionally, verify that the height adjustment is suitable for the surface being vacuumed. If the issue persists, it may be necessary to clean or replace the filter.

Question and answer
Number of questions: 1Hello, my Hoover Allergy bagged 7000ph vacuum sucked up a sock it sounds like. The machine has all of the lights blinking blue with red around the center control. I have taken out the dust bag and filter from the dust bag location inside the machine and checked all of the hose, floor tool and the handle all seem to be empty. When I place it all back together it sounds like the blockage is coming from the barrel itself. Could you please advise what to do next please.
