The best place for the thermostat is the room where you spend the most time, in many cases the living room or kitchen. Place the thermostat about one and a half metres above the floor, not in the sun and not on an outside wall.
If your thermostat has a dead band, your installation is, as it were, 'at rest'. The thermostat only switches on when, for example, the difference deviates more than 2˚C from the set room temperature.
Most people find that the ideal room temperature is between 19 and 22 degrees Celsius.
Press the "Menu" button, then select "Temperature" and use the arrow keys to adjust the desired temperature setting.
If you see an error code, try restarting the thermostat by removing it from the wall plate and reattaching it after a few seconds. If the issue persists, it might be necessary to contact a professional technician for further troubleshooting.
Absolutely! By pressing the "Menu" button and selecting "Program," you can easily set custom schedules for weekdays and weekends, allowing you to optimize comfort and energy efficiency.
Locate the "Fan" button on the thermostat and press it to cycle through the available fan settings: "On," "Auto," or "Circulate." Selecting "On" keeps the fan running continuously, "Auto" allows the fan to operate based on the temperature settings, and "Circulate" runs the fan intermittently for enhanced air circulation.
Yes, you have the option to enable the "Advanced Security" feature that allows you to lock the thermostat using a security code. Access the security settings by pressing the "Menu" button, selecting "Advanced Settings," and navigating to the security options to set a passcode.

My heat isn’t coming on. What does wait mean? What do I do next?

Wait means waiting for the furnace to run through it's initial start up after AC power turned on. It takes a few minutes go though some checks before it will fire the burner and start heating. In mine it's not more than 5 minutes before it starts. I only see the wait message if the furnace has been powered off and is turned back on (not from the thermostat).
How do you cancel ALL scheduled times to be able to just turn the temp up and down myself instead of a schedule? It seems if it’s set at 71 it’s not moving past 65 and don’t understand how to completely cancel anything and everything….

I have the same or similar issue with mine. I have schedules running and no manual over-rides. I runs fine during the day, then overnight when runs back to the overnight setting of 65, it won't recover automatically in the morning as if it is set behind the scenes somehow for 66. If I shut the AC power off to the furnace and back on, it returns to heating on the schedule, but overnight it apparently defaults to 66 again. I cannot find that setting anywhere in the system. For a while, it was randomly stopping during the day and night. Discovered that was a leak in a pressure sensor hose. That doesn't happen any more, but the overnight reset to fixed 66 degrees is perplexing.
