The temperature on the Honeywell VisionPRO 8000 thermostat may not be reaching the desired setting of 67 degrees if the heating or cooling system is not responding. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try: 1. Check the circuit breaker and reset it if necessary. 2. Make sure the power switch at the heating and cooling system is turned on. 3. Ensure that the furnace door is securely closed. 4. If the screen is difficult to read, you can adjust the screen brightness using the Preferences menu. 5. If the red light is on, it is normal if the thermostat is in Emergency Heat mode. However, if the thermostat is not in Emergency Heat mode, an alert may be active. Check the message on the thermostat screen. 6. If the heating or cooling system does not respond, touch the SYSTEM button to set the system to Heat or Cool mode. Make sure the temperature is set higher than the current inside temperature for heating or lower for cooling. 7. If the system still does not respond, check the circuit breaker again and reset it if necessary. Also, ensure that the power switch at the heating and cooling system is turned on and the furnace door is securely closed. 8. If the thermostat displays "Wait," it means that the compressor protection timer is on. Wait for 5 minutes to allow the system to restart safely without damaging the compressor.

Just installed. Set to come on 6:00 at 68 deg. Room temp 63 (36 deg outside) at 5:00 am and the furnace came on and now 6:30 am and has been running continuously. Room now says 68 deg. Is this thermostat coming on at 5:00 because it is trying to ramp to 68 by 6:30? I do not want it to turn on at all until 6:00, so do I need to set it for turn on for 7:00, which I realize would have the house at 60 when I get up?

On the thermostat when fan is set to Circ, and mode set to cool, does fan go to on when air conditioning is called for, and then goes back to Cir when air conditioning is not called for?

We have the Honeywell VisionPRO 8000 that I have programmed to "Wake Up" at 6:00 AM. It actually starts the heat up at 5:00 AM instead. If I change the time to read 7:00 AM, it will start at 7:00 AM. It is like it doesn't recognize the 6-o'clock hour. I have also tried changing the "Wake Up" time to 6:15, 6:30, 6:45. It always reverts to 5:15, 5:30, 5:45. What's the problem? Is it defective somehow?

Sometimes when I try to set the temp lower for air conditioning, I get the message "System Wait" instead of "System Cool". What is going on and is this a problem?
