Number of questions: 4We have a Honeywell Th5220D thermostat with an add on heat pump and a 90% gas furnace approximately 10 years old. T-stat is set for 2 heat and 1 cool (#5) and set for 3 cycle rates per hour. It turns the furnace on and off for very short cycles in emergency/aux heat mode. Two hvac techs have looked at this and can't figure it out. Also the fan turns on in Emergency/aux. heat mode when calling for heat. Shouldn't the furnace control the fan in this mode? This has agitated us for years, can you help?
