How do I deactivate the eco part of the nest system?
I remotely check my Nest thermostat in Florida from Wisconsin and have noticed the AC not cooling. Nest is showing "Blue" and set at 80 and the temperature in the home is 85 or higher and not cooling. I had an AC tech check out the system and nothing is wrong with the AC system. He turned the entire system off during the check and back on and everything worked fine, but days later AC temperature again is not running correctly. I shut off the Nest thermostat remotely and restarted it. When I restarted it, I got a "Delay" message and within a couple of minutes the delay disappeared and the system is cooling as it should. The AC unit was changed last year. I suspect the installer miss wired the Rc wire or I have some other issue with the wiring to my Nest thermostat or maybe even a faulty Nest thermostat, battery or something. What do you think?
