A microwave lasts an average of 2000 hours before it loses power.
Yes. Turning the microwave on empty can result in damage to the microwave. When the microwave is empty, the microwaves are not absorbed by the food.
Reheating food in the microwave is not bad for your health.
It is not wise to put peeled food in the microwave. The heat cannot escape through the skin, causing the food to explode.
Ensure that you are using microwave-safe cookware and that the power level is set correctly for your desired cooking time and food. Check that the door is securely closed, and that no residue or food particles are obstructing the door seal or waveguide.
Press the "Power Level" button on the control panel and then enter the desired power level percentage using the numerical keypad. For example, enter '5' for 50% power level.
The "LOC" feature (Child Lock) might be activated. To deactivate it, press and hold the "Clear/Off" button for 3 seconds or until the "LOC" indicator disappears.
Press the "Time Cook" button, then enter the required defrosting time using the numerical keypad. Make sure to choose the appropriate power level for defrosting, usually around 30% - 50%. If available, use the automatic defrost feature based on the weight of the food.
The "Sensor Cook" feature allows the microwave to automatically adjust cooking time and power level based on the humidity it detects during cooking. Simply select the desired food category (e.g., popcorn, beverages, etc.) and enter the quantity or size. The microwave will automatically determine the cooking time and power level.

@Jacquelin K Seddon push SETTINGS (right above vent fan button). Turn dial THREE CLICKS CLOCKWISE to “clock mode”. Push dial. Turn dial one click to “12 HRS” and then push dial again. You’re all set now!
I cooked bacon which cooked perfectly. I took turntable out to wash and replaced after wiping down the microwave. Turned it back on to heat water in coffee cup and it made a noise. I made sure turntable was in correctly and not at an Acquard angle it was ok. turned it back on and it still makes a noise that basically sounds like a heartbeat rhythm. What could be wrong?
the time is very dim and hard to see. I have cleaned the screen with soap and water and it has not helped.
The Power Level seems to be stuck on high. When pressed the message comes: "Power Level may not be changed at this time." I need to have lower power for many food items.

I ran into the same problem and found nothing in the user's manual or on line. So I started pushing buttons. Here's what worked for me. Press Cook Time and turn the dial to your desired cooking time. THEN PRESS IN THE DIAL. Then press Power Level and turn the dial to your desired level. Hope this works for you.
@Dan Donovan you can change the power level once the microwave starts going.
