The display buttons are not working. The display itself is showing two brackets, one in the upper left and one in the lower left

We have a GE JTD5000 wall oven. When we follow the sabbath mode instructions, one bracket should appear. With ours, two brackets appear and then you can’t hit any other buttons. In essence so far, we can’t use our sabbath mode. Please help.

How do I keep my oven from automatically shutting off after several hours? I was slow roasting a pork overnight and woke up and it was off and I don’t know for how long. It usually takes 12-14 hrs to roast my pork.
