The washing label of your garment shows the recommended washing temperature.
It is not necessary to use an anti-scaling agent. Scale deposits can be prevented by limiting washing at high temperatures and using the recommended amount of detergent per wash.
Unpleasant odours can be avoided by occasionally washing at 60 degrees and using the recommended amount of detergent per wash.
Make sure the power cord is properly plugged into a functioning electrical outlet and press the "Start" button after selecting the desired cycle and options.
Gently pull out the detergent dispenser drawer and rinse it under warm water. Remove any residue or debris, ensuring the holes are clear. Then, reinsert the drawer back into the washing machine.
Check that the water inlet hoses are securely connected to both the machine and the water supply. Additionally, examine the drainage hose for any kinks or blockages. In case of any damages, consider replacing the hose.
Ensure that the washing machine is level and stable on the floor. Adjust the leveling feet as necessary to achieve balance. Also, ensure that the load inside the drum is distributed evenly, as an unbalanced load can cause excessive vibration.
Verify that the selected cycle matches the type of fabric you are washing. Certain cycles may leave some fabrics more damp to prevent excessive wrinkling. Additionally, check if the "Spin Speed" option is set appropriately for your load. Select a higher spin speed if needed to enhance moisture removal.

This answer is automatically generated@Emma I had the same problem and followed these instructions. Nothing changed. The only thing the washer will do is make a faint buzzing sound whenever I touch a button or turn the dial to another setting.

I have just used my new machine for the first time and selected the Vent option at the end of the cycle. How long should it run? its been going for about 2 hours.

The manual says it can run for up to 8 hours — we just usually leave the door open and run it only after doing a self-clean cyclle
How do I do a reset? The machine won’t turn on. And the door won’t unlock. And it’s full of wet clothes.
THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET FOR THIS WASHER IS A GFI OUTLET. IS IT OK TO USE THIS KIND OF ELECTRICAL OUTLET FOR THIS UNIT?
I thought using cold water for all loads was fine, that different temps weren't necessary so save money by only using cold?
I need to replace the drain pump but cannot find any videos or paperwork on how to do so. My model number is GFW650SSN0WW. The drain pump runs but now water exits. Filter is clean. Seems to be a common issue. Also, what drain pump model number do I order. As parts sites have a different number than the part number from GE. Part number listed is GE Part# WH11X29539 Drain Pump and Filter. The older model looked easy to get to but this unit is only 2 years old and has the full cover on the front.
Question 1 of 2) Why does the liquid soap start draining into the cavity and into the drum area even before closing the dispenser door? What also is noticed is that when you set a delayed start timer the soap has already drained out of the dispenser into the drum- it starts draining as soon as you are filling the dispenser cavity. Question 2 of 2) As soon as you hit the start button to begin a cycle you hear the pump start to drain any potential standing water in the drum. The issue is (see #1 above) that if the soap has already begun to dispense in the drum before starting or has already fully drained in the tub if the wash was set on a delayed timer then the soap is getting sucked out at the beginning of the cycle which means how are the clothes getting fully cleaned when some/most of the soap just got sucked out?
