Use two (2) new AAA batteries. Please see the following

instruction when installing the batteries.

Batter y Installation

1. Open the battery cover in the back of the remote as

illustrated.

2. Match the batteries to the + and - marks inside the battery

case, then insert the batteries. If the installation is correct,

the indicator light will flash 2 times.

3. Put the battery cover back on.

4. Press any key, if the indicator light flashes, installation is

correct.

Warnings:

1. Do not mix new batteries with old ones or place the

batteries incorrectly.

If you put in channel number that is NOT a channel in your package with the cable company, message on tv screen asks "Do you want to Upgrade". You can make a selection. BUT, WE NEVER WANT TO UPGRADE THIS WAY. Question is "is this feature defeated by the Flipper Big Button" or "how do you handle this situation with the Flipper Big Button?
