Can't find the answer to your question in the manual? You may find the answer to your question in the FAQs about the Electrolux ELFE4222AW below.
A condenser dryer is a dryer in which condensation ends up in a reservoir.
A drain dryer is a dryer in which the warm air and condensation are drained through a hose.
It is best to wipe the dryer drum with a damp cloth and some lemon cleaner.
Check the following: - That the fluff filter is clean. - That the bottom of the dryer is free of dust. - That the drain hose is clean. If the above does not help, a mechanic should be called in.
First, let's check if the power cord is securely plugged into a functioning power outlet. Additionally, make sure the dryer door is completely closed, as the dryer will not start if the door is open. If these are not the issue, it might be worth checking if the fuse or circuit breaker connected to the dryer has tripped.
To adjust the drying time, locate the "Time Dry" or "Timed Dry" option on the control panel. Use the arrow keys, usually labeled "+" and "-", to increase or decrease the drying time in predetermined increments.
Several factors might contribute to your clothes remaining damp. Ensure that the selected drying cycle is appropriate for the fabric type and load size. Check if the lint filter requires cleaning, as a clogged filter can affect drying efficiency. Additionally, confirming that the dryer's exhaust vent is not obstructed can help ensure proper airflow and drying performance.
To disable the end-of-cycle signal, locate the "Signal" or "Sound" button on the control panel. Press this button until the indicator light for sound is turned off or until you reach the desired sound level. This feature, however, may vary depending on the specific model.
The maximum load capacity of your dryer can vary based on the fabric type, size, and desired drying results. However, as a general guideline, it is recommended to follow the manufacturer's instructions and not exceed a load capacity of, for instance, 7 kilograms or 15 pounds. Overloading the dryer may result in subpar drying performance and potential damage to the appliance.

Number of questions: 9My dryer runs and dries clothes fine, but the water container does not fill and is always empty. The first few runs it filled up but no longer does. What should I do?
My Electrolux condensing dryer model ELFE4222AW00 is properly connected to a 220V outlet, and has the washer connected to the plug on the back of the dryer. The washer works as it should, when operated. The never-before used dryer function lights turn on when the power button is pressed, but the light on the ON/PAUSE button will not light up in any mode set, prior to, or after pressing it, and will not cause the dryer to operate. I have turned it on and off several times, have checked filter and condenser parts for position, checked the condenser drain has e for connection to washer drain in wall, & checked drum for free rotation, and even tried loading dry and wet clothes on drum to assure that some sensor was not preventing its operation, and also waited for washer to complete its operation and turned it off, before attempting to turn dryer on, but none of these actions have been successful at getting the unit to operate. Any suggestions before I have to call for service?
