Dometic 6GEA. Hot and Cold Water Valves are open. I turn on both LP and Electric, immediately hear it come on and run for about five minutes. Let it run for a while, grate to outside is warm. Hooked to hose for water. No hot water (might be slightly warm for about 10 seconds).

I have tried to turn on hot water heater WH-6GEA and continue to get a fault error on the panel shown below. I reset the circuit breaker and the same issue continues to happen. The water heater has the fault issue with both gas or electric. This water heater has been used only twice prior to this time. It is installed in a Fleetwood 2023 flair 29m. Th manual that was provide by General RV shows a reset button on the top of the water. I looked for the reset button and see no button to reset. I am current camping and would appreciate any help that you could provide. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide

My water heater won't work on either electric or propane. Both the ECO and thermostats check ok as does the thermal link. I have 12 volts to both the white and orange signal wires to the board with the control switch on. I do not have voltage to the yellow wire though with the control switch on. I just replaced this heater and had hot water the first evening but then it quit working.

@Don Gaalswyk Hello there is a safety fuse by the heating pipe that is too close and it blows it. I bought a new one that usually comes with a wire extension so you can place it farther away, hope this helps.
