However, these functions will still operate normally even with the button operation tone turned off. 3. The purpose of this design is to provide a silent operation for the watch, especially in situations where the button operation tone may be disruptive or unwanted, such as during meetings or in quiet environments. Similarly, if you leave a screen with flashing digits on the display for two or three minutes without performing any operation, the watch automatically exits the setting screen. The purpose of the automatic return feature is to ensure that the watch returns to the Timekeeping Mode or exits the setting screen when left idle for a certain period of time. Why does my Casio 3031 watch automatically change to the Timekeeping Mode when left in the Alarm Mode for a certain period of time?

However, if you leave the watch in the Alarm Mode without performing any further operations for a specific duration (usually around two or three minutes), the watch assumes that you have finished setting the alarms and automatically switches back to the Timekeeping Mode. This automatic change to the Timekeeping Mode helps ensure that the watch returns to its default mode after a period of inactivity, preventing accidental changes to alarm settings and conserving battery life.
