Number of questions: 5The protector over the front of the lens. When you turn on the camera the lens extends and this protector opens. Except now it only opens a little. I can flick it and it will open the rest of the way. What can I do to make it work properly?

That's a mechanical issue. It has most likely broken part of the internal mechanism, one of the springs that open the lens-protector is probably busted. See if your local camera-shop can fix it for you. Best of luck.

1. Connect the usb micro to the camera and the other end (USB-A) to the computer. The computer has to be on. 2. Turn on the camera. 3. If the computer has Windows on it it will ask what to do with the new device. Select "Import Media/Images". 4. An explorer window will open showing the internal memory of the camera. Navigate to the pictures you want to transfer and then copy them like you would any other files.
