The following settings can be selected or stored on the Settings/Registration screen:
Preferences(P. 307)
Adjustment/Maintenance(P. 333)
Function Settings(P. 336)
Management Settings(P. 355)
Output Report(P. 361)
Some of the settings may not be displayed depending on the conguration of optional equipment installed on the machine.
Some changes may not be reected immediately, depending on the settings. In this case, it is necessary to perform one of the
following.
Select <Yes> on the screen conrming whether you want to make changes.
Select <Apply Set. Changes> on the <Home> screen.
Restart the machine.
The settings that can be specied differ between administrators and general users, and vary depending on restrictions
imposed by the administrator.

Description of the Settings

Describes the functions of each setting item on Settings/Registration. The settings that can be operated vary depending on the user
authority and the machine you use. Setting items and values are written under Setting Description. The factory defaults are written in bold
red characters.

"Can be set in Remote UI"

The "Can be set in Remote UI" item is written for each item in the Settings/Registration table. "Yes" or "No" indicates if the settings can/
cannot be set in the Remote UI.

Import All Function

The "Import All Function" item is written in the Settings/Registration table. Depending on whether a setting item can be batch imported, "A",
"B", "C", or "No" is written. "A", "B", and "C" refer to the following cases.

What is the best way to remove jammed paper from my printer?

It is best to gently pull the paper out of the printer. Turn the printer off, and make sure that the printhead is not hanging over the paper and that no paper remains in the printer.

How come my printer does not accept original cartridges?

Non-genuine cartridges may not be recognised by the printer. In that case you will receive a message that the cartridge is empty. The manual of the purchased cartridge usually contains the solution, if this does not work, it is advisable to contact the seller.

How come my prints are of poor quality?
