I'm installing a cabinet for a Bosch NITP660UC cook top. I understand that I need to provide ventilation. There is no space for ventilation at the back of the cabinet, so I will be cutting a section out of the floor of the cabinet near the back. My question is...do I also need to cut an opening at the front of the cabinet (at the toe kick) in order to allow for airflow into the cabinet?

Can't find the answer to your question in the manual? You may find the answer to your question in the FAQs about the Bosch NITP660UC below.

Can I use my pans on induction?

Nowadays almost all pans are suitable for induction. You can easily test whether your old pans can also be used on induction by holding a magnet against the bottom of the pan. If the magnet stays on the pan, your old pan is suitable for induction.

How do I reset my induction hob?

Most induction hobs can be reset by disconnecting the hob from power by unplugging it from the power outlet. You will then have to wait at least 60 minutes.

What is a Perilex connection?

A Perilex connection is a special connection that can handle more power than a normal connection. This connection has five holes instead of two and is often used for induction hobs.

Is cooking on induction dangerous?

No, cooking on induction is not dangerous.

Why is my cookware taking a long time to heat up on the Bosch NITP660UC stove?

If your cookware is taking a long time to heat up on the Bosch NITP660UC stove, there could be a few possible reasons: 1. Cookware suitability: Ensure that your cookware is suitable for induction cooking. Induction cooktops require cookware with a magnetic base. Test the cookware suitability by filling it with approximately 8 ounces (200 ml) of water and placing it on the cooking zone that best matches the base of the cookware. Select the appropriate settings and observe the result of the test after 10 seconds. If the cookware is not suitable or takes longer than expected to heat up, consider using different cookware or testing it on a smaller cooking zone. 2. Cooking zone size: Make sure that the diameter of the cooking zone matches the size of your cookware. If the cooking zone is much smaller than the cookware, only the middle of the cookware will heat up, resulting in slower heating. Adjust the placement of the cookware to ensure optimal heat distribution. 3. Power level: Check the power level setting for the cooking zone. Set it to a higher power level, such as 8 or 9, for faster heating. By considering these factors and making the necessary adjustments, you should be able to improve the heating performance of your cookware on the Bosch NITP660UC stove.

How can I activate the dual or triple cooking zones on the Bosch NITP660UC stove?

To activate the dual or triple cooking zones on the Bosch NITP660UC stove, follow these steps: 1. Ensure that the cookware you are using is suitable for induction cooking and has a magnetic base. 2. Place the cookware on the cooking zone that best matches its size. The cooking zones on the Bosch NITP660UC stove can automatically detect cookware of different sizes. 3. For the triple cooking zone, when you place cookware on the cooking zone, the part of the cooking zone that is fully covered by the cookware will turn on automatically. The size of the cooking zone can be single, dual, or triple, depending on the size of the cookware. 4. For the dual cooking zone, use cookware that matches the size of the cooking zone. The dual cooking zone allows you to use two separate cookware items simultaneously. By following these steps, you can activate the dual or triple cooking zones on the Bosch NITP660UC stove and make the most of its versatile cooking capabilities.
