To recalibrate the Bosch GMS 120-27 Professional measuring tool when a metal object is continuously indicated even when there is no metal object nearby, follow these steps: 1. Ensure the battery charge indicator shows at least 1/3 capacity. 2. Switch off the measuring tool and remove all nearby objects that could be detected. 3. Hold the measuring tool horizontally with the rear side pointing towards the floor. 4. Simultaneously press and hold the on/off button and the audio signal button until the light-up ring flashes red. 5. Press and hold the audio signal button until the light-up ring lights up red to start recalibration. 6. If successful, the measuring tool will automatically restart after a few seconds and be ready for operation again. Note: If the measuring tool does not restart automatically, repeat the recalibration process. If issues persist, contact an authorized Bosch after-sales service center.
