The Bosch GDE 18V-12 Professional is a dust extraction attachment designed to be used with rotary hammers for collecting drilling dust during drilling in concrete, brick, stone, ceramic, and tiles. The attachment features a button for drilling depth adjustment, a guide with a depth stop scale, a button for drill bit length adjustment, and a dust cap for the SDS plus fixed chuck. It includes an LED worklight that illuminates the work area when the rotary hammer is in use. The attachment also has release buttons for the dust box, a viewing window, and a HEPA filter that removes 99.97% of particles larger than 0.3 micrometers. The Bosch GDE 18V-12 is compatible with rotary hammers such as the GBH 18V-22 and has a drilling diameter range of 4-12mm, a maximum drill bit length of 165mm, and a maximum drilling depth of 100mm. The attachment weighs 1.1kg according to EPTA-Procedure 01:2014. The guide length can be adjusted to ensure clean extraction of dust and proper depth stop setting. The dust extraction attachment must be used with a filter to prevent larger particles of drilling dust from being flung towards the user and to protect the power tool from damage.
