If the on/off switch of the Bosch GCM 10 MX Professional saw is not working, follow these steps: 1. Ensure that the power tool is disconnected from the power source or that the battery pack, if detachable, is removed before making any adjustments or repairs. 2. Check for any misalignment or binding of moving parts, as well as any breakage of parts that may affect the operation of the power tool. If any damage is found, have the power tool repaired before further use. 3. Store the power tool in a safe place out of the reach of children and prevent unauthorized users from operating it. 4. Provide adequate support for the workpiece by using table extensions, saw horses, or other suitable means, especially for wider or longer workpieces that may tip if not securely supported. 5. Avoid using another person as a substitute for a table extension or additional support, as unstable support can cause the blade to bind or the workpiece to shift during cutting. 6. Do not jam or press the cut-off piece against the spinning saw blade, as this can lead to violent ejection. 7. Always use clamps or fixtures designed to properly support round materials such as rods or tubing to prevent the blade from biting and pulling the workpiece. 8. Allow the blade to reach full speed before contacting the workpiece to reduce the risk of the workpiece being thrown. 9. If the workpiece or blade becomes jammed, turn off the saw, wait for all moving parts to stop, and disconnect the power source before attempting to free the jammed material. 10. After completing a cut, release the switch, hold the saw head down, and wait for the blade to stop before moving the saw or changing the workpiece. By following these steps, you can address the issue of the on/off switch not working on the Bosch GCM 10 MX Professional saw.
