Personalizing the projector menu display The On-Scr een Displa y (OSD) menus can be set according to your pr eferen ces. The
following settings do n ot affect the projection settings, operation, or performance.
• Menu displa y Time in the SYSTEM SETUP: Basic > Menu Sett ings menu
sets the length of time the OSD will remain activ e after your las t ke y press. The
time length ranges fr om 5 to 30 seconds in 5-second increments. Use / to
select a suitable time frame.
• Menu Positi on in the SYSTEM SETUP: Basic > Menu Settings menu sets
the OSD position in f ive locations. Use / to select a pr eferr ed position.
• Language in the SYSTEM SETUP: Basic menu sets y our familiar language for
the OSD menus . See "Using the menus" on page 30 for d etail s.
• Reminder message in the SYSTEM SETUP: Basic > Menu Settings menu
sets whether to displa y reminder messages on screen. Use / to select your
desired setting.
• Splash Screen in the SYSTEM SETUP: Basic men u sets a prefer red logo
screen to be displa yed during pr ojector start-up . Use / to select a sc reen.
• Fan Speed Mode in the SYSTEM SETUP: Advanced me nu i s u s ed w h en t h e
projector is ins talled a filter cover . Use / to set t o High . See "Indicators" on
page 65 for details.

Economic/ SmartEco.
• Using t he OSD menu.
1. Go to SYSTEM SETUP: Adv anced >
Lamp Settings > Lamp Mode.
2. Press / to se lect Normal/ Economic/
SmartE co. The lamp brightness vary from
the diffe rent lamp mode,see the descri ption list in table below .
If the Economic m ode or SmartEco mo de is selected , the light ou tput will
be reduced and result in dark er projected pictur es.

Economic
Low ers brightness to extend the lamp life and decreases the
fan noise
SmartEco
Adjusts the lamp pow er automatically depending on the
content brightness lev el
