Operating in a high altitude environment W e r ec ommend you use th e High Altitude Mode when your en vironment is 15 00
m –3000 m abov e sea lev el, and ambient temperature is betw een 0°C–35°C .
Do not use the High Alti tude Mode if your altitude is between 0 m and
1500 m and ambient temper ature is between 0°C and 35°C . The projector
will be o ver cooled, if you turn the mode on under such a condition.
T o activate the High Altitude Mode :
1. Press MENU and then press / until the SYSTEM SETUP: Advanced
menu is highli ghted.
2. Press to highlight High Altitude Mode and press / to select On. A
confirmation m essage displa ys.
3. Highlight Yes and press OK .
Operation under "High Altitude Mode" ma y cause a higher decibel operating noise
lev el because of increased fan speed neces sar y to improv e overall system cooling and
performance.
If you use t his projector unde r other extr eme conditions excluding the abov e, it may
displa y auto shut-down symptoms, which is designed to protect y our projector fr om
ov er -heating. In cases like this, y ou should switch to High Al titude mode to solve
these symptoms. Ho wev er , this is not to state that this pr ojector can operate under
any and all harsh or extr eme conditions.
Adjusting the sound The sound adjustment s made as below will ha ve an effect o n the projector speak er(s).
Be sur e you ha ve made a corr ect connection to the pr ojector audio input. See
"Connection" on page 20 f or how the audio input is connected.
Muting the sound T o temporarily turn off the sound, press on
the re mote control, or:
1. Press MENU and then press / until
the SYSTEM SETUP: Advanced men u
is highlighted.
2. Press to highlight Audio Settings and
press OK . The Audio Settings page
displa ys.
3. Highlight Mute and press / to select On .
Adjusting the sound level T o adjust the sound le vel, pr ess VOL / o n
the re mote control, or:
1. Repeat steps 1-2 abov e .
2. Press to highlight Volume and press
/ to select a desir ed sound lev el.
