Using Wall Color In the situation wher e y ou ar e pr ojecting onto a col ored surfac e such as a painted w all
which ma y not be white, the Wall Co lor featur e can help corr ect the pr ojecte d
picture ’ s color to pre vent possible color diff erence be tween the sour ce and pr ojected
picture s.
T o use this function, g o to the DISPLAY > Wall Color menu and press / to
select a color which is the closest to the color of the pr ojection surface. There ar e
sev eral pr ecalibrated colors to choose fr om: Light Yellow, Pink , Light Green,
Blue, and Blackboard.
Fine-tuning the image quality in user modes According to the detected signal type and selected pictur e mode, some of the belo w
functions ma y not be a vailable. Based on y our needs, you can mak e adjustments
tothese functions by highlighting them and pr essing / on the pro jector or
rem ote co nt rol .
Adjusting Brightness The higher the value, the brighter the image. And
the low er the setting, the dark er the image. Adjust
this contr ol so the black areas of the image a ppear
just as black and that de tail in the dark ar eas is
visible.
Adjusting Contrast The higher the value, the gr eater the contrast. Use
this to set the peak white lev el after y ou ha ve
pre viously adjusted the Br ightness setting to suit
your sele cted input and viewing e nvir onment.
Adjusting Color Low er setting pr oduces less saturated colors. If the setting is too high, colors on the
image will be o verpo we ring, which mak es the image unreali stic.
Adjusting Tint The higher the valu e, the more r eddish the pic ture be comes. The low er the value, the
more gr eenish the pictur e becomes.
Adjusting Sharpness The higher the value, the sharper the pictur e becom es. The low er the value, the
softer the pictur e becomes.
Adjusting Brilliant Color This featur e utilizes a ne w color -pr ocessing algori thm and system le ve l enhancements
to enable higher brightness while pr oviding truer , more vibrant colors in picture. It
enables a gr eater than 50% brightness incr ease in mid-tone images, which are
common in video and natural scenes, so the project or repr oduces image s in r ealistic
