6. Y ou ha ve successful ly assigned a new
passw ord to the pr ojector . Remember to
enter the new pass wor d next time the
pr ojector is started.
7. T o lea v e the OSD menu, pr ess MENU.
Disabling the password function T o disable passw ord pr otection, g o back to the SYSTEM SETU P: Advanced >
Security Settings > Change Security me nu after opening the OSD men u system.
The message 'INPUT PASSWORD' di sp lays. En te r t he cu rrent pa sswo rd.
• If the passw ord is cor rect, the OSD menu r eturns to the Security Settings
page with 'Off' shown in the r ow of Power on lock . Y ou will not ha ve to
enter the passw ord next time you turn on the pr ojector .
• If the passw ord is i ncorr ect, the passw ord er ror mess age displa ys. Y ou can
press MENU to cancel the change or try another passwor d.
Though the password function is disabled, y ou need to k eep the old
passwor d in hand should you e ver need to r e-activate the password
function b y entering the old passwor d.
Switching input signal The pr ojector can be connected to multiple de vices at the same time. Howe ver , it can
only displa y one full scr een at a time. When starting up , the projec tor automatically
sear ches for the a vailable signals.
Be sur e the Quick Auto Search functio n in the Source menu is On (which is the
default of this pr ojector) if y ou want the pr ojector to automatically s earch fo r the
signals.
Y ou can also manu ally cycle thr ough the
a vailable input signals.
1. Press Source on the projecto r or remote
contr ol. A sour ce selection bar displa ys.
2. Press / until y our desired signal is
selected and pr ess OK.
Once detected, the selected sour ce
information will displa y on the screen for
seconds. If the re is m ultiple equipment
connected to the pr ojector , repeat steps 1-2
to sear ch for anothe r signal.
• The brightness lev el of the projected
imag e will change accordingly when
y ou switch between differ ent input si gnals. Data (gra phic) "PC"
presen tations using mostl y static imag es ar e generall y brighter than
"Video" using mostl y mo ving imag es (mo vies).
