3. If the pr ojector is activated f or the first
time, select your OSD language follow ing
the on-screen in structions.
4. If you ar e prompt ed for a passw ord, pre ss
the arr ow k eys to ent er a six digit
passwor d. See "Utilizing the passw ord
function" on page 31 f or details.
5. Switch all of the connected equipment on.
6. The pr ojector will start to searc h for input
signals. The cur rent in put signal being
scanned displa ys in t he screen. If the
pr ojector doesn't detect a valid signal, the
message 'No Signal ' will contin ue
displa ying until an inp ut signal is found.
Y ou can also press Source on the projector or r emote contr ol to select your
desired input signal. See "Switching input signal" on page 33 for details.
• If no signal is detected for 3 minute s, the projector automaticall y enters
ECO BLANK mode .
Adjusting the projected image Adjusting the projection angle The pr ojector is equipped with 1 fr ont adjuster fo ot and 2 rear adjuster feet. The se
adjusters change the image he ight and pr ojection angle. T o adjust the proj ector :
1. Pull the quick-r elease lev er and lift the front
of the pr ojector . Once the image is
positioned wher e yo u want it, re lease the
quick-release lev er to lock the f oot in
position. Y ou ma y also screw the fr ont
adjuster foot to change the image height.
2. Scre w the r ear adjuster feet to fine tune the
horizontal angle.
If the pr ojector is not placed on a flat surface or
the scr een and the pr ojector are no t
perpendicular to each other , the projected image become s trapezoidal. T o cor rect
this situation, see "Magnifying and searching f or details" on page 3 4 for det ails.
• Do not look into the lens while the lamp is on. The strong light from the
lamp ma y cause damage to y our ey es.
• Be car eful when y ou pre ss the adjuster button as it is close to the
exhaust vent wher e hot air comes from.
