Description
The A TW-T220 cardioid dynamic wireless handheld transmit ter
inco rpor ates the PR O 41 dynamic element created for prof essional
live s ound venues. The element includes internal shoc k mounts for
low handling noise. An integral two-stage pop lter within the steel
headcase protects against “p” pops and other breath plosives. The
transmit ter includes an adjustable gain control to tailor the input to
the sound source. An integrated two-position po wer/mute switc h
eliminates the need for a separate mute but ton. An RF po wer select
switc h of fers high and lo w set tings. The transmit ter operates on two
standard AA bat teries and a battery condition indicator illuminates
when the bat teries are good. An internal c hannel selector allows the
transmit ter to operate on any one of ten c hannels. The transmit ter is
cons tr uct ed of high-impact materials and includes a hea vy-duty
microphone stand cl amp.

The frequency -agile FM wireless handheld transmit ter utilizing a
cardioid dynamic element shall be part of a wireless system of fered
in two UHF bands, 656.1 25 – 678.500 and 487 .1 25 – 506.500 MHz.
The element shall be protected b y a rugged metal head case with
integral two-stage pop lter . A two-position positive-action mec hanical
pow er/mute switc h operable without looking at the transmit ter shall
be provided. T ransmit ters using separate mute and power but tons
shall be unacceptable. The transmit ter shall hav e illuminated indicator
to signify bat tery condition. T en selectable c hannels shall be av ailable.
Channel selection shall be via a recessed rotar y selector and the proper
tool shall be included with the transmit ter . The de vice shall hav e an LED
indicator when it is turned on. T here shall be a trim adjustment to allow
input gain c hanges. The transmit ter shall include a T one Loc k
™
to identify
the wireless transmit ter to the wireless receiver . This transmit ter
shall provide a minimum of 1 2 mW RF power le vel and shall operate
on two AA bat teries. All c hannel set tings and lev el adjustments shall
be hidden behind a remov able cov er to prev ent unnecessar y access.
The transmit ter shall have an integral antenna and be constr ucted of
high-impact materials. A hea vy-duty st and clamp shall be included
with the transmit ter .
The FM wireless handheld transmit ter shall be an A udio - T echnica
A TW - T220a or equivalent.
