If the telephone system is already in your cell phone's device history list, delete it and try pairing again. 4. Follow the pairing instructions provided in pages 22-23 of the AT&T CLP99387 phone's manual. Make sure that your cell phone is not connected to any other Bluetooth device during the pairing process. 5. If the issue persists, turn off your cell phone and then turn it on again. 6. If none of the above steps work, reset the telephone base by unplugging it from the power source for approximately 15 seconds, and then plug it back in. Repeat the suggestions mentioned above. If you are experiencing poor cell phone reception with your AT&T CLP99387 phone, there are a few steps you can take to improve the signal: 1. Check the distance: Make sure your cell phone is within 15 feet of the telephone base. If it is too far away, the signal quality may be affected. Move your cell phone closer to the base to improve reception. 2. Remove obstacles: Ensure that there are no physical obstacles, such as large furniture or thick walls, between your cell phone and the telephone base. These obstacles can weaken the signal strength. Clear any obstructions to enhance reception. 3. Charge your cell phone: If you are using Bluetooth wireless technology, keep your cell phone connected to the telephone base while charging. The battery discharges faster when connected via Bluetooth, so maintaining a full charge can help improve reception. 4. Monitor cell phone usage: Be aware that minutes may be deducted from your cellular plan for the duration of all cell calls. Check the terms of your plan to understand how your usage may impact your cellular minutes. For more detailed instructions on setting up and operating your Bluetooth devices with the AT&T CLP99387 phone, refer to the Bluetooth setup section (pages 22-34) and the Telephone operation section (pages 53-71) of the manual. If you encounter any difficulties, consult the Troubleshooting section (pages 183-198) for assistance. Please note that the Bluetooth word mark and logos are owned by Bluetooth SIG, Inc., and any use of such marks by AT&T is under license.
If the model or serial numbers of the AT&T CLP99387 phone are not visible or cannot be found, you can troubleshoot the issue by following these steps: 1. Check the handset and telephone base for any labels or stickers that may contain the model or serial numbers. These labels are usually located on the back or bottom of the devices. 2. If the labels are not present or are illegible, try removing the battery from the cordless handset and then reinserting it. This can sometimes reset the device and make the numbers visible again. 3. Ensure that the handset and telephone base are clean and free from any dirt or debris. Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the surfaces and remove any obstructions that may be blocking the numbers. 4. If the numbers are still not visible, try disconnecting the power to the telephone base and removing the battery from the cordless handset. Wait for a few minutes, then reconnect the power and reinsert the battery. This can help reset the devices and potentially resolve the issue. 5. If none of the above steps work, contact AT&T customer support for further assistance. They will be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or arrange for a repair or replacement if necessary.
