It is recommended to completely defrost your freezer at least once every six months.
A freezer must be transported upright at all times. It is very bad for a freezer to be transported on its side as oil from the compressor can end up in the evaporator.
A commonly used method is to temporarily place a cup of vinegar in the freezer.
To set the desired temperature, locate the temperature control dial inside the freezer. Turn the dial clockwise to lower the temperature and counterclockwise to increase it until you reach your desired setting.
Start by unplugging the freezer and removing all contents. Use a mild detergent and warm water solution to wipe down the interior surfaces, including shelves and drawers. Rinse with a clean, damp cloth and allow it to air dry before plugging the freezer back in.
There could be several reasons for inadequate cooling. Check if the door is fully closed and sealing properly. Make sure the vents are not obstructed and that the condenser coils are clean. Additionally, ensure that the temperature setting is correctly adjusted to a colder setting if needed.
It is recommended to defrost the freezer whenever there is approximately 5mm of ice buildup, or at least twice a year. To defrost, first remove all items from the freezer. Switch off the appliance and leave the freezer door open. Use towels to absorb any water that may drip. Once the ice has melted completely, clean the interior and restart the freezer.
During a power failure, it is important to keep the freezer door closed as much as possible to preserve the cold air inside. A fully loaded freezer can typically keep food frozen for about 48 hours, while a partially filled one may last around 24 hours. Once power is restored, check the temperature and condition of the stored items. If any doubts about the safety of the food arise, it is advised to discard it to avoid any potential health risks.

Afterwards, we set it to freeze, and when it flashed at 24 degrees the next day, we set the temperature to 18 degrees. However, it dropped back to 15, and it has remained there. We have repeatedly set it back to 18 without any changes occurring.
