What should I do if the device displays a "LOW BATT" warning?

When the ACE One alcohol tester displays a "LOW BATT" warning, follow these steps: 1. Apply pressure on the battery cover at the back of the unit to release it. 2. Replace the 2 pieces of 1.5V Alkaline Batteries with new ones. 3. Ensure to mind the battery polarity (+/-) during the replacement process. 4. Dispose of the depleted batteries properly by returning them to electrical appliance stores for recycling. 5. Remember that the device will turn off automatically when the battery voltage is too low. 6. Always use original ACE Instruments mouthpieces for accurate and hygienic testing. 7. If the device is not used for an extended period, use it at least twice a month to maintain the accuracy of the sensor. 8. Consider sending the device for calibration after 500 tests or every 6 months to ensure accuracy and maintain the warranty.

When should I consider recalibrating the ACE One alcohol tester?

To ensure the accuracy of your ACE One alcohol tester, consider recalibrating it periodically. The next calibration date is indicated on the calibration sticker attached to the device. If the sticker is missing, recalibration is recommended six months after the purchase date. Factors such as frequency of use and alcohol concentration can affect the device's accuracy. ACE Instruments suggests using the breathalyzer at least once a week and recalibrating it regularly to maintain precision. Additionally, after conducting 500 tests, the device will prompt for recalibration. To initiate the recalibration process, contact ACE Instruments and send the device to the specified service address.
