How often should I calibrate the ACE Neo to maintain accuracy?

To maintain accuracy, calibrate the ACE Neo alcohol tester every 12 months or after conducting 1000 tests. This calibration ensures the device continues to provide precise results. When the device displays the "CAL" sign for 3 seconds during warm-up after exceeding 1000 tests, it indicates the need for calibration. At this point, send the device to ACE Technik for a calibration service to maintain its accuracy. Regular calibration is essential for the ACE Neo to function effectively and provide reliable blood alcohol concentration readings.

What should I do if I notice a decrease in accuracy in the ACE Neo over time?

To maintain the accuracy of your ACE Neo alcohol tester over time, follow these steps: 1. Wait at least 15 minutes after your last sip of alcohol before conducting a test. 2. Avoid eating, drinking, or smoking during this waiting period. 3. Keep the device in a moderate temperature environment and out of extreme conditions. 4. Store the ACE Neo away from children and in a clean, dry place. 5. Conduct three inlet tests after prolonged storage before the actual alcohol test. 6. Change the batteries when the battery alarm indicates low battery capacity to prevent incorrect test results. 7. Avoid conducting tests in loud, draughty, or poorly ventilated areas. 8. Allow the sensor to rest for at least three minutes after a test result of 1.00 per mille or higher. 9. Do not expose the device to very cold, hot, smoky, or unventilated environments. 10. Store the ACE Neo securely to prevent dust or liquid penetration.
