Business-Class ADSL Router with ISDN Backup for Remote Office Locations
The 3Com Router 3031 provides all of the components needed to give remote office and tele-workers secure, reliable, cost-effective access to the Internet or corporate networks over a broadband ADSL connection with ISDN backup capabilities.
The router includes an integrated ISDN BRI S/T backup port, and a four-port switch for local LAN connections. The 64MB DRAM, 8MB flash memory, and operating software support a full complement of routing, integrated security, and quality of service features required by today's remote office.
As this router is equipped with a full complement of memory and routing functionality, there are no hardware, memory or software upgrades required or available—everything a business needs is included with the base system.
The 3Com Router 3031 operates over ordinary analog phone lines (POTS - Plain Old Telephone Service) so you don't have to invest in additional phone lines or special wiring. The ISDN port can be used as a primary or backup port to the broadband ADSL connection.
